Meet the Co-Founders

Bright View Care was founded by Lupe Bright and Wynn Reed, who strive to serve those with disabilities, their families, and caregivers by providing excellent care. Bright View Care was founded in response to a need for service and resource availability in our communities.

Lupe Bright (top left in picture of her family) is a former public school teacher experienced in teaching Spanish and English Language Learners. As an advocate for children she has worked relentlessly to bring attention to several policy issues affecting all children such as access to affordable childcare. A PhD candidate in Education Policy and Leadership, she understands how policy affects real life situations. She specializes in special education advocacy, community partnerships, curriculum development, and in navigating the world of waivers. She has two sons with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Her motivation to co-found Bright View Care is in response to the struggles she, and her family, face in finding quality care for her children.

Wynn Reed (right in picture of two women) is a special educator, vocational instructor, respite provider, intervention specialist, and BCBA-candidate. She is experienced in writing IEPs, documentation, training and supervising care providers, and providing in-home and community care. She has family and friends with developmental disabilities who have inspired her to advocate for disability justice. Wynn is an advocate for serving foster youth, as well. Her motivation to co-found Bright View Care is her passion for and dedication to serving people with disabilities and their families.
